Propylene plant start up delayed by Petrologistics to August

Petrologistics has delayed by one month, the start up of ts 500,000 tpa propylene plant at Houston, Texas. Start up of the propylene plant, which is expected to be the largest propane dehydrogenation plant in the world, has been delayed to the middle or end of August, as per Platts. The delay is being caused by continued commissioning work. The new facility will produce chemical-grade and polymer-grade propylene from propane. Propylene is expected to be supplied from the plant during H1-September.
