Taiwan's state-owned oil refiner - CPC Corp. plans to restart in the first week of February, its 350,000 tpa No. 4 naphtha cracker in Kaohsiung on recovering ethylene demand. The cracker has been shut on Oct. 11 for scheduled repairs. CPC planned to restart cracker in late November, but weak demand in the region forced it to extend the shutdown.
