Reliance plans to expand petrochemicals production at Jamnagar refinery

Reliance Industries Ltd. will expand petrochemicals production including ethylene, polypropylene and propylene at its Jamnagar refinery to profit from selling products used in consumer goods that are more valuable than exported fuels, as per Bloomberg. K.K. Sreeramachandran, a general manager in the company’s refining business, said at a conference that the expansion will cost about US$10-12 bln and take three to four years
