South Korea's Samsung Total Petrochemicals Corp. plans to hike production capacity at its Daesan naphtha cracker to 100% after restart of the unit post-shutdown due to a power outage. The cracker with capacity to produce ethylene 850,000 tpa was shut in second week of November and was brought back online within 4-5 days. Since then, output has been increased gradually towards 100%.
