Shenyang Paraffin-Wax Chemical Co. Ltd., an affiliate of Shenyang Chemical Group, has selected Univation's UNIPOL PE process for a 100,000 tpa polyethylene plant. The UNIPOL PE process facility will be fed by a first of its kind catalytic pyrolysis process (CPP) which produces ethylene by cracking crude oil in a fluid bed reactor. Coupled with Univation's state-of-the-art polyethylene technology, the Shenyang facility will be capable of producing a full range of linear low and high-density polyethylene. The facility will be located in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, People's Republic of China
