The single largest investment within the BOPP film industry worldwide has now been finalized: Merely 26 months after the Chinese Shuangliang Group based in Jiangyin (Jiangsu Province, near Shanghai) initiated the project, the last of four new stretching lines has successfully started production. In total, three 8.2 m lines and one 6.6 m line have been installed and commissioned since April 2003 and now produce various A-grade BOPP films - a veritable masterstroke by the two project partners Shuangliang and Brückner.
Shuangliang Group emphasizes the open, professional and very productive cooperation during the whole project and is looking forward to a long lasting partnership: "We are perfectly happy with the commissioning of our four BOPP lines. It was a tremendous challenge for our company but thanks to the smooth co-operation with Brückner's specialists we reached our goals completely. The BOPP lines are in production and fully accepted. With this investment, Shuangliang Group has become one of Asia's largest BOPP film producers and completely fulfils the markets' multifaceted requirements for high quality films in various thickness ranges. Some examples of Shuangliangs's product range:
