Blow-Fill-Seal / BFS technology is a manufacturing technique used to produce small liquid-filled containers i.e Saline Bottle or pertaining to packaging of pharmaceutical and healthcare products. The basic concept of BFS is that a container is formed, filled, and sealed in a continuous type blow moulding process to manufacture sterile pharmaceutical liquid dosage forms. Jagmohan has been manufacturing machines for small application from 200 ML-5000 ML for HDPE/PP end product; but for pharma, saline bottle that should refrain manual involvement for producing and filling this application in a sterilized ambience is required.
Jagmohan has started initially to venture this application in production on a trail run on LDPE extruded by Continous Type Head to form the parison; the tube is cut above the mould. The mould is transferred to the filling zone, or sterile filling space, where filling blowpin mandrels are lowered and used to inflate the plastic to form the container within the mould. Following the formation of the container, the mandrel is used to fill the container with liquid. Following filling the mandrels are retracted and a secondary top mould seals the container. The product is then discharged to a non-sterile area for labeling, packaging and distribution. Jagmohan is working in sync with Spanpack, Mumbai and they are the best in the industry for filling machine.
The significant crux of BFS is the application that stands sensitive yet cohesive. Jagmohan now aims to substantiate this machinery to be tested and approved by FDA.
