US$6 bln invested in Iran's Bakhtar Petrochemical Complex

Bakhtar Petrochemical Complex in Iran has announced investments to the tune of US$5.9 bln in 12 affiliated plants, scheduled to become operational within the next three years. The West Ethylene Pipeline, also scheduled to become operational within the next three years, begins in Asalouyeh, Bushehr province and is linked to the petrochemical plants and provinces in western Iran. The aim of the pipeline is to expedite the development of deprived region.
