Houston-based Westlake Chemical Corporation has set up its new office in Shanghai, China which will serve as the headquarters for its China operations and other Asian business initiatives. The Shanghai-based office will strengthen company's access to global markets and to new business development opportunities in the region.
Further, Westlake Chemical Corporation currently has a joint venture operation in nearby Suzhou producing approximately US$884 mln per annum of products, including PVC resin, PVC films and window profiles.
