China's Zhong Tian He Chuang will start commercial operations at its new coal-based petrochemical complex in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, on October 20, as per sources in Platts.
The new complex includes a 120,000 m tpa low density polyethylene plant, a 250,000 m tpa pipe grade LDPE unit, a 300,000 m tpa linear low density polyethylene unit and a 350,000 m tpa polypropylene plant.
Zhong Tian He Chuang Energy is a joint venture between Sinopec and China Coal Group.
