A New Chapter began when the successful completion of a puja ceremony held at Plastindia International University (PIU), Vapi on 5th September 2024. The ceremony was organized on the auspicious occasion of Teacher's Day to mark the beginning of the academic session for the first batch of students at PIU. This sacred ritual was conducted to invoke blessings for a prosperous and fruitful journey ahead for our students and the entire university community.

The puja ceremony was attended by founder members, Governing body members, students, and their parents, creating a deeply spiritual and harmonious environment. The presence of our esteemed founder and governing members symbolized their commitment to the university's vision, while the participation of students and parents highlighted the community spirit we are fostering at PIU.

The ceremony also marked the start of the students' 10-day induction program. Following the puja, the induction program continued with various sessions aimed at acclimatising students to university life and familiarizing them with our academic and industry goals. The induction focused on personal development, academic orientation, and preparing the students for their journey at PIU. 

The University aims to provide formal education at Bachelors Degree Level, Masters Degree Level and Doctorate Level. In addition to this, University is keen on providing upskilling and reskilling to the industry professional and keen to impart research and consulting assignment. 

The University officials added that “The formal inauguration ceremony of Plastindia International University is scheduled to take place around January 2025. We are currently coordinating with our valued industry partner and industry friends, our technical collaborator UMass Lowell, USA, and the Senior leadership in the Government to finalize a date that aligns with their availability. We anticipate that this event will further solidify PIU's standing as a premier institution in the field of plastics and polymer engineering”.
