Albemarle Corporation has strengthened its position in the specialty chemicals sector, moving up as a leading manufacturer and supplier of polymer antioxidants in China and one of the top suppliers worldwide with two new acquisitions. 2 polymer additive joint ventures in China - Ningbo Jinhai Albemarle Chemical & Industry Co. Ltd. and Shanghai Jinhai Albemarle Fine Chemicals Co. Ltd. are under 100% ownership of Albemarle Corporation, upon signing of the agreement on the last day of June. Both facilities are currently wholly owned subsidiaries of Albemarle Corporation.
