DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers (P&IP) has named Distrupol as its sole distributor in UK and Ireland for its range of specialty ethylene copolymers products dedicated to cosmetic and industrial markets. The products to be distributed under the agreement include Biomax® polymers, Bynel® adhesive resin, Elvaloy® polymer modifiers, Elvax® EVA resins, Entira® resin modifiers and additives, Fusabond® modifier resin, Nucrel® ethylene copolymers, Surlyn®, ionomer resin.
Distrupol, a subsidiary of Univar NV, is a major polymer distributor for plastics processors in Europe and has market leading positions the UK, Irish and the Nordic regions. The cooperation between two companies combines the strong, local sales coverage and technical expertise of Distrupol in applications development with the innovative solutions and downstream-market access provided by DuPont. Distrupol has been selling a variety of DuPont polymers in markets across Europe since the 1990's, under a range of different distribution agreements.
