Under the EU merger regulations, the European Commission has cleared the formation of the RusVinyl joint venture between SolVin and Siberian-Ural Petrochemical. The JV will invest EUR 650 mln in a world-scale fully integrated vinyls plant in Kstovo, Russia. The plan to form the JV was first announced in July 2007.
