Ineos has declared force majeure on polyethylene supplies coming from its 1.75 billion lbs/year PE plant at Battleground, Texas site, as per Platts. Ineos communicated that the declaration was triggered by an unforeseeable manufacturing breakdown. Specific details regarding the outage and the duration of the outage were not disclosed.
