Following on from the successful conferences on High Performance Thermoplastics held in Singapore in 2006 and India in 2007, Chatsworth Hall is now pleased to announce the latest conference to be held in Singapore in 2011. Engineering plastics are finding new applications in areas where traditional materials have always maintained prominence due to certain restrictive environments or performance requirements. This could be where high temperatures are encountered or where chemical resistance is of importance or weight is a consideration or even where functional stability has to be maintained. Such materials would encompass, though would not be limited to specialty compounds, nano-composites, polymer alloys, polycarbonates, polyesters, new polyamides, polyimides, LCPs, polysulphones, PEEK etc.
Major applications for such engineering plastics are in:
> Aerospace
> Automotive
> Electronics and Telecommunications
> Medical Devices & Biotechnology
> Semiconductors
Singapore has again been chosen as the venue for this conference since the polymer manufacturing and compounding industries, as well as the plastics processing and fabrication industries, are well advanced. In addition, strong capabilities in polymer R&D and development technology are well established and work alongside global manufacturing companies in these identified application areas. This conference therefore would be of significant interest, and provide a suitable forum for discussion, for global manufacturing companies, resin manufacturers and compounders, design, manufacturing and process engineers, R&D specialists, plastics fabricators and material suppliers. Parties interested in attending or giving a presentation at this Conference can contact Dr Phil Adams at padams@chatsworth-group.com
