Naphtha prices rise to 13 month highs

H1-January open-spec naphtha rose by twenty dollars/ton to US$722/ton CFR Japan. Naphtha prices have climbed to new 13-month highs on Wednesday as per ICIS pricing. H2 January open-spec naphtha contract was valued at $718/ton CFR Japan. Crude futures strengthened, extending their gains in the previous day on news of a larger-than-expected fall in US crude stocks.
