Spanish PET manufacturer, La Seda de Barcelona is presently in negotiations with Indorama to merge with the Thai group. Indorama, an expanding petrochemicals group in Asia has made an offer of EUR 1.30 - 1.40 per share for the Spanish PET maker. However, the talks of amalgamation are believed to be at a nascent stage and it is yet uncertain for the deal to realize.
