Petrochemical ports along the coast of Texas closed

The eye of Hurricane Dolly is expected to cross the Texas coastline near the Mexican border by noon CDT (1700 GMT) on Wednesday, according the U.S. National Hurricane Center. As Hurricane Dolly moves nearer, petrochemical ports along the Texas coast have been closed. Ship pilots in Houston stopped steering ships along the waterway to the busiest US petrochemical port due to rough seas. Also shut was the port of Corpus Christi, which serves three refineries. Reopening of tehse ports in uncertain. However, pilots were still running to Texas City, Texas.
