A plan to shift the existing location to a new one and thereafter increase capacity of the ethylene unit of Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Company has been approved by The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). NDRC has approved the capacity expansion from 150,000 tpa to 600,000 tpa at the new location by the subsidiary of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation.
