Malaysia's Tanjung Langsat Oil Port Terminal near Pasir Gudang has two of its eight petrol tanks ablaze with fire. As per a police chief, one of two tanks (tank one) containing 17,800 cubic metres of gasoline struck fire on Sunday evening while the other (tank two) containing 8,000 cubic metres of naphtha caught fire on Monday evening. To counter the fire, about 400 firemen in 14 engines used the foam spraying technique to put out fire and cooling operation was carried out at tank for averting the fire from swelling further.
