Foamex, a US based leading producer of polyurethane foam-based solutions and a manufacturer of high-performance polymers is all set to change consumers' and companies' outlook towards the use of foam.
With a breakthrough in foam engineering, the newly developed Aquazone® WD has many benefits over the cellulose-based sponges and mops. Aquazone® WD has almost 50% more water holding capacity than the cellulose sponges and also offers bright colour maintenance for longer periods. Further, Aquazone® WD preserves flexibility and softness in both wet and dry conditions unlike the cellulose mops and sponges which harden and distort once dried after use. As a result, Aquazone® WD can be packaged in the dry condition decreasing the shipping weight and thus, the shipping cost. The host of applications of the newly developed foam include household consumer use, hand scouring, kitchen wipes, hydrophilic foam applications, medical use, and industrial grouting applications.
