Arkema has announced a EUR 50/ton price increase for its entire Evatane® EVA range (High Content Ethylene Vinyl Acetate copolymers) applicable in Europe from June 15 2009. Price increases will also be implemented in the other regions of the world where they will be announced by our local sales force. These price increases have become necessary to offset further rises in raw material costs in recent months, while the EVA market has experienced price erosion.
Arkema's Functional Polyolefins are used in highly diverse industrial applications, including hotmelt glues, cables, multilayer packaging film, technical polymer modification, solar panels, oilfield additives, bitumen and ink.
