Amid falling crude oil prices, benzene in Asia slipped by a dollar to US$1187/mt FOB Korea. In the US, benzene was assessed at US$1246/mt FOB USG on February 13, while European benzene was assessed at US$1270/mt CIF ARA, up by US$11 on February 13. "I think traders feel that the upward trend of US benzene is limited, that's why there was weakness experienced in Asian benzene today," a source said.
