Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd (BPCL) has completed its Kochi refinery expansion. With this restart, the Indian major is all set to restart spot naphtha exports, making it the first instance of this year. The 60,000 bpd crude distillation unit (CDU) unit at its Kochi refinery was shut in early April for maintenance and expansion, to augment capacity to the present 190,000 bpd. BPCL is offering 27,000 tons of low aromatic naphtha for Oct. 20-30 lifting from Kochi port in a tender which closes on Sept. 16.
