China to see the advent of new Singapore Polymer Corporation offices

27-Jun-05
The Teknor Apex-owned company, Singapore Polymer Corporation (SPC), is planning to launch new representative offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong as demand for thermoplastic compounds are perceived to continue rising in China. Flexible and rigid vinyl, thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs), polyolefin and styrenic compounds plus color and additive masterbatches are manufactured and supplied by Singapore Polymer Corporation (SPC) to its Chinese manufactures. With the setting up of these new offices, SPC will be in a better position to respond to the perceived growing demand from manufacturers in the appliance, automotive, electrical, electronics, medical device, wire and cable industries, in China. SPC is foreseen to have the capability to produce the full slate of compounds developed in the US by Teknor Apex, besides the afore stated range of products that SPC already supplies customers in Southeast Asia, India, China, Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand.
