Clariant announces recent additions to its product portfolio: pigments based on diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP) chemistry.
Hostaperm® Red D2G 70 is a high fastness red pigment in the Colour Index (C.I.) Pigment Red 254, which is particularly suitable for automotive OEM finishes and refinishes.
Hostaperm® Red D3G 70, also in the C.I. Pigment Red 254, distinguishes itself by high color intensity and hiding power and is thus an ideal extension to Clariant's range of pigments for industrial paints and also, increasingly automotive refinishes. Because of their excellent property profile, both DPP pigments are also highly suitable for use as colorants in leather top coats, industrial equipments and school and artists paints.
Hostaperm® Rubine D3B and Hostaperm® Rubine D3B-WD, with the Colour Index Pigment Red 264. The blue tinged red pigments are highly transparent, offer excellent fastness properties and exhibit exceptionally high color intensity.
