The dearth of petrochemical demand has led Taiwan's government-owned oil refiner, CPC Corp to postpone the restart of its Kaohsiung-based No.4 naphtha cracker, reports Taipei Times. The naphtha cracker was pulled off steam due to scheduled maintenance and repairs and its resumption was initially proposed for November end. The No. 4 naphtha cracker will reportedly be on team by Jan 2009.
