A tanker carrying approximately 58,000 tons of naphtha from the United Arab Emirates to South Korea, has collided with a British registered bulk carrier ship in the Strait of Malacca. Nine crewmen from the oil vessel were missing after the collision that has not resulted in any oil spill, and shipping in the busy waterway has not been disrupted despite a fire on the tanker. The naphtha tanker was chartered by Cargill and was enroute to Daesan in South Korea from UAE.
