Kuwait's Equate Petrochemical Co has controlled a fire at its aromatics complex, with no impact on production, as per Reuters. Production capacity includes 829,000 tons of paraxylene and 393,000 tons of benzene. The fire, which resulted from a leak in the aromatics complex, was immediately contained and extinguished.
