Foster Wheeler AG subsidiary in its Global Engineering and Construction Group has been awarded a contract by Star Petroleum Refining Company Limited (SPRC) for front-end engineering design (FEED) for the Residue Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Unit (RFCCU) Revamp Turnaround and Inspection Project at its refinery at Map Ta Phut in Thailand.
The project to revamp the RFCCU will improve on-stream reliability together with environmental and performance improvements. The FEED is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2012.
