Fujia Dahua Petrochemical is mulling imports of 500,000 to 1 mln tpa of heavy naphtha to feed its 1.15 mln tpa aromatics plant in H2 of this year. Total capacity at the plant comprises of 700,000 tpa paraxylene, 350,000 tpa benzene and 100,000 tpa orthoxylene. Trial run will be conducted at the plant in this month, upon successful conclusion of which the plant will begin commercial operation in about 8-9 weeks. Then, the company will require 2 mln tpa of naphtha as feedstock for the plant.
