Global oil prices amid easing supply concerns, possible diplomatic solution to Iran conflict

Falling for the fourth consecutive day, US benchmark West Texas Intermediate for November delivery dipped to US$103.1. Interestingly, Brent North Sea oil futures for November delivery inched up to US$108.6 a barrel. Global oil prices finished mixed on Tuesday as supply concerns eased amid speculation about a diplomatic solution to the West's conflict with Iran over its nuclear program. During an address to the United Nations, US President advocated pursuing diplomacy with Iran's new government, but called on Tehran to be transparent about its nuclear program.
