One of China’s leading plastics machinery manufacturing groups Haitian International Holdings has opened a new assembly line at subsidiary Zhafir Plastics Machinery in Ebermannsdorf, Germany. To begin with, Haitian’s fully electric Venus machines will be assembled initially which will be followed by assembly of Mercury model. Expecting significant improvement in business in the last two quarters of the year, Haitian has predicted that annual sales could even exceed RMB 3.7 bln, equivalent to annual sales during the full year 2008.
