India's private-sector Haldia Petrochemicals (HPL) has declared force majeure on all cracker products, following a fire at its petrochemical complex on 20 September. HPL has shut down its naphtha cracker and related derivative units with capacity to produce 700,000 tpa of ethylene and 340,000 tpa of propylene.
