For Q2 shipment, Haldia Petrochemicals is seeking by tender, upto 50,000 ton of naphtha, either as one or two parcels, for May 16-20 arrival at Haldia port. The tender closes on March 2, with offers to stay valid until March 9.
Sellers also have the option to sell 50,000 tonnes of the petrochemical feedstock on a free-on-board (FOB) basis instead, for lifting during April 26-30 from the Middle East.
Plans to augment capacity by 30% at its 520,000 tpa naphtha cracker some time in April this year, could be foiled by the weak economic outlook.
