Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd (HPCL) plans to commission its Rs 18,919 crore (US$4.23 bln) refinery at Bhatinda by June/July 2011. Steel tycoon Lakshmi N Mittal is a partner in this project.
Mechanical completion of the 9 mln tps unit is over. The unit will start processing crude oil by the end of June and products will be in market by August-September 2011.
