Vitol Group and Chevron Corp. bought as much as 60,000 metric tons of naphtha from Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Chevron has purchased 25,000-30,000 tons of naphtha from Mumbai, for Sept. 18-22 loading at a premium of about US$15/ton to Middle East prices. Vitols has bought similar quantities at similar premium for Oct. 7-9 loading.
