Husky Injection Molding Systems recently expanded its line of Altanium® temperature controllers with the introduction of Altanium Neo2™ controllers. On display at the Husky booth (S36009) at NPE 2009 (Chicago, June 22 - 26), Altanium Neo2 is designed on a platform to provide two to 24 zones of control and is equipped with 15 amps per zone, making it flexible enough to handle a wide variety of applications. The design combines functionality and control with an intuitive and simple user interface. According to the maker, the Altanium line of temperature controllers is recognized throughout the industry for its accuracy, ease-of-use and flexibility. Husky is the only hot runner manufacturer with its own line of fully integrated temperature controllers.
Altanium Neo2 controllers deliver:
-- Large full color touch screen with an intuitive interface for easier temperature control, configuration and monitoring
-- Ability to store up to 24 mold set-ups internally and support external storage through a USB key, allowing for faster, more accurate start-ups
-- Accurate control achieved through the application of Active Reasoning Technology (ART), which automatically creates a custom control algorithm for each zone, optimizing part quality and consistency
-- Diagnostic routines which allow tooling issues to be identified and corrected with minimal downtime
