Auto Cluster and Pimpri Chinchwad Plastic Association sign two MoU’s with European Cluster delegation
 
Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner and President of Auto Cluster Rajesh Patil said that the MOU with the European cluster delegation would be beneficial for foreign investment and development of polymer industry in the city. The auto cluster and Pimpri Chinchwad Plastic Association signed two MoU’s with the European cluster delegation on Monday (Apr. 04), Commissioner Patil was speaking at the time.
 
For this, cluster delegations from Germany, France, Denmark and Slovakia were present. Kiran Vaidya, Managing Director, Pimpri Chinchwad Auto Cluster; Nitin Gattani, President, Pimpri Chinchwad Plastic Association; Sandeep Lakhani, Vice President; Manoj Barve, Ashwin Garg, Pramod Gore, Nitin Kondalkar, Pankaj Garg, Yogesh Babar as well as eminent industrialists and representatives from the world of industry were present. The event was jointly organized by Auto Cluster and Pimpri Chinchwad Plastic Association at Auto Cluster, Pimpri.
 
Commissioner Rajesh Patil further said, “The MoU with the European Cluster is important for the development of the polymer industry in the city. As the Municipal Commissioner, I will always support such initiatives. This will open up new opportunities for foreign investment and industries in the city. It will definitely benefit the industrial development, 'he said.
 
Nitin Gattani, President, Pimpri Chinchwad Plastics Association, said, “This MoU is important for the upliftment of the polymer industry. This will create new investment opportunities, which will also benefit the industry as well as employment growth. The delegation is positive about the business opportunities available in Pune and Invited us to visit the world's largest international industrial exhibition of plastics and rubber in October. This will also benefit the industry and entrepreneurs”.
 
Kiran Vaidya, Managing Director, Pimpri Chinchwad Auto Cluster, said, “The purpose of Auto Cluster is to exchange technology and new concepts by connecting clusters to clusters. The cooperation agreement reached with the European cluster on Monday is not an event but a new beginning. This will open up new technologies, concepts and opportunities for the plastics industry.”
 
After the event, delegations from Germany, France, Denmark and Slovakia visited the polymer industry in Chakan. He said that a large number of industries in Pune have opportunities for development.
