India's Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd (BPCL) has sold a naphtha cargo out of Kochi at about US$27-28/ton above Middle East quotes on a free-on-board (FOB) basis, but cancelled the sale of a cargo from Mumbai, as per economictimes.comThe premium for the 25,000-35,000 tons cargo, scheduled for Nov. 11-13 loading, was the highest BPCL has fetched for naphtha exported via Kochi since July as stronger demand in the last week has reversed recent weak market sentiment. BPCL has likely cancelled the sale of a 38,000-tonne cargo for Nov. 13-15 loading from Mumbai due to domestic demand. It had previously cancelled the sale of a Mumbai cargo for Oct. 20-22 loading.
