The infrastructure, with an investment of 16.7 million euros, will allow the manufacture of recycled PET, complying with European regulations that require up to 30% recycled material to be incorporated into packaging.
The Regional Government has supported the project with a grant of 3.5 million euros through the Andalusian Energy Agency to improve resource efficiency, including water use.
