Indorama Thailand has completed acquisition of Eastman's PTA and PET assets in Netherlands and The United Kingdom by its subsidiaries, Indorama Holdings Limited and Indorama Polymers PCL, respectively. In the past three years, the group revenue has tripled to US$1.7 bln in 2007 from US$500 mln in 2004. Indorama Thailand has also signed a memorandum of understanding with Tuntex Thailand PCL to acquire their business consisting of Polyester fibers and filaments. The acquisition will help the company emerge as Thailand's premier Polyester company in Fibers.
