Iran and Chinese CNTIC petrochemical company have agreed to collaborate on construction of Mehran Petrochemical Complex which will produce propylene.
CNITIC had already signed with Iran participation in and financing of projects underway in southern oil regions such as Bushehr and Masjed Soleiman, as per en.mehrnews.com. The petrochemical plant will produce resin phenol, polyule, and acrylic acid for the first time in Iran and at the same time will provide food for downstream industries in Ilam province industrial hubs and raw material for other production units across the nation. The complex will incorporate the latest cutting-edge technology of Germany, France, Britain, and Denmark.
