Iran has expressed a desire to set up joint ventures in Haryana in the petrochemical sector. For this purpose, a delegation would visit Haryana to see the development made by the state and explore the viability of setting up projects.
Haryana has formulated a comprehensive plan for rapid development, including the construction of a 135 km expressway and setting up of special economic zone and a dry port.
Haryana is a major manufacturer of motorcycles and tractors, and currently manufactures 50% of the cars being produced in the country.
