Iran has signed a Euro 400 million agreement with India for constructing a petrochemical complex in Iran's South Pars gas field. The complex is projected to produce 2,200 tons of ammonia and 3,800 tons of urea per day.
Iran's National Petrochemical Company and India's Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited Company have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The Indian company has undertaken to build the complex in phase two of the southern Iranian gas field.
