Iran to allocates E233 mln to petrochemical plant in West Azarbayjan

The Iranian Bank of Industry and Mining [BIM] has allocated 2,560bn rials [US$275 mln] to the completion of The Petrochemical Complex in Mahabad. As per the contract with the foreign contractor of the project, 218 mln euros had been allocated to the plan but the BIM has increased the budget to 233.1 mln euros. The project, that had begun two years ago, will be completed in 34 months. The Petrochemical Complex in Mahabad, upon completion, is planned with capacity to prroduce 300,000 tons of high and low density polyethylene and 30,000 tons of buten annually
