IRPC inks agreement to provide expert engineers to start-up Samsung Engineering’s construction projects

IRPC Public Co., Ltd. President has revealed the signing of a collaboration agreement in which IRPC will cooperate with Samsung Engineering Company. Under the agreement, IRPC will provide expert engineers to start-up Samsung Engineering’s construction projects in different countries. IRPC has duly sent a team of expert engineers to commission and run production at Samsung's Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company (TAKREER), United Arab Emirates (UAE), where they will stay for two years. The contract is worth 90 million baht. Over the past 30 years, IRPC has accumulated knowledge and capabilities in the manufacturing and maintenance of refineries and petrochemical plants in Thailand, China and the Philippines. IRPC is recognised for its high-potential and efficient personnel as well as its specialist management techniques in petrochemical and refining industries at international level. As a result, Samsung Engineering, as a global leader in engineering construction and management for petrochemical and refineries projects, has entrusted IRPC to be responsible for the project. IRPC will send its team of professional engineers to UAE from April 2012 to June 2014. The team comprises 11 people including two maintenance engineers, two power plant engineers and seven manufacturing engineers.
