Japan-based JNC has begun production of its thermoplastic bicomponent fibres called ES Fiber at ES FiberVisions, a JNC global partner for sales in Rayong, Thailand, as per eetasia.com. ES Fiber is a thermoplastic bicomponent fibre which can be heated and bonded to each other without using adhesives. Nonwoven fabric made of ES Fiber is soft and bulky, and is widely used in hygiene products such as baby diapers and feminine care products.
JNC produces ES Fiber with ES FiberVisions, a joint venture with its Thailand-based sales partner, ES FiberVisions. When FiberVisions became a subsidiary of Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited (IVL), JNC and IVL have agreed to expand partnership and have begun constructing the bicomponent production line.
