KRAIBURG TPE GmbH & Co. KG has expanded its production capacities in the USA. A new production machine went into service at the Duluth, Georgia plant operated by the world's leading manufacturer of thermosplastic elastomer compounds based on hydrogenated styrene block copolymers (HSBC). The new unit increased capacities by about 30%.
This investment underscores the significance of the USA as a production site. It is also a continuation of our strategy of establishing and expanding production and distribution sites around the world," CEO Franz Hinterecker noted. Joe Mullen, General Manager of the US facility, added: "This extension of our production capacities pays tribute to the significance of the North American market. We can now be even more flexible in terms of delivery times and batch sizes when selling individual TPE compounds to our customers."
